The guesthouse is located on the county road DJ 107, right next to the Iara stream, beneath the edge of the forest. It offers exceptional conditions for spending a weekend or a longer stay in a wonderful setting, far from the chaos, noise, and pollution of big cities.
The guesthouse has eight rooms, two fully equipped kitchens with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, full tableware (dishes, glasses, cups, mugs, plates, cutlery), and a lounge with a fireplace, HDMI internet, and a home cinema system.
It is suitable for groups of friends or families.

Cabana Karla is located in the village of Cerc, in the commune of Valea Ierii, in an exceptionally beautiful area near the edge of the forest, with a stream running through the yard, about 55 km from Cluj-Napoca.
The cabin offers accommodation for up to 26 people, with 9 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, pantry, refrigerators, central heating, TV, internet, a hot tub (capacity approx. 12–14 people), grill, cauldron, gazebo, children's play area, and an event tent.

Music and general noise levels must be kept at an acceptable level so as not to disturb the neighbors. Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin, and pets are not accepted.

The National Training Center for First Aid and Emergency Response is located in the Șoimu area, in the commune of Valea Ierii. Established by the Romanian Red Cross – Cluj branch, the training base is a unique investment in the country. Construction began three years ago, in 2014, and the center is designed to accommodate around 100 people.

In addition to accommodation, the center also includes a dining hall, kitchen, classrooms, relaxation areas, and outdoor training zones. In this setting, the Red Cross will organize courses on various topics: first aid, emergency response, survival, and rescue from dangerous situations.

Moreover, when no training courses are being held at the base, all its facilities can be made available to those who wish to organize private events, such as conferences, camps, trainings, etc.

The training base for first aid and emergency response is intended for the general public, employees of various companies, Red Cross volunteers and staff, as well as emergency response service personnel.

Caps Camp – Valea Ierii, managed by the Children’s Palace Cluj, is located about 60 km from the city of Cluj-Napoca, on the edge of the forest near the Iara River, which flows through the commune of Valea Ierii.

Camping on public land within the territory of Valea Ierii commune is allowed free of charge.

Tourists are kindly asked to keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other visitors or locals, and to collect household waste and dispose of it in the containers placed along the roads of the commune.
Tourists who leave waste in the natural environment will be fined.
